| foppy 2005-02-26 02:02:58 | Does anyone have a relative or friend who is a Freemason? |
| Kitty 2005-03-07 03:56:48 | Ha ha! Yes! I have a very distant relative (my uncle's cousin's father) who was one and i met another today. He's allowing me to ask questions about the organization! So, if u want me to ask him a q then just post it here. Sister Kitty Red Shoes, White chocolate |
| Kitty 2005-03-07 06:59:23 | In fact, here are some links, for a discussion on another forum about Freemasons then go tohttp://www.fantasyessentials.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4580&page=1&pp=10 And for some of the Mason Lodges then go tohttp://directory.google.com/Top/Society/Organizations/Fraternal/Freemasonry/Craft_Masonry/United_Grand_Lodge_of_England/ |
| Kitty 2005-03-07 07:00:50 | That 1st website is a Freemason who is welcoming ppl to ask questions and telling u how to join, there are mentions of a Freemason dating service and things, it's a great discussion |
| Kitty 2005-03-07 12:30:50 | Ok, in danger of spamming the thread, i'd just like to add that my great grandfather was a freemason. I just asked my gran and she told me so. |
| Amy 2005-03-11 04:44:44 | Apparently the actor who played lovable cousin Balki Bartokamous in the 90s TV series 'Perfect Strangers' and the camp fashion retailer in the "Beverly Hills Cop movies... is a FREEMASON! His name is Bronson Pinchot and he became a Mason in Harford Lodge #445, Pennsylvania in December, 2002. He recently played a crazed killer in The Langoliers, a Stephen King TV mini-series. His Freemason connections haven't seemed improved his roles. |
| Bec 2005-03-12 16:52:52 | I just found out that a friend of a friend's uncle is a freemason. He doesn't tell her ANYTHING about it. All she knows is that he can get to the front of restaraunt queues on busy nights. Sounds well worth it...(?) |
| Mr Pig 2005-03-29 06:35:15 | Wow I read the thread title as 'Anyone know any Mansons?', as in does anyone know any members of the family. If they did that would be a hell of a lot more interesting than knowing a mason... but I'm not so sure you'd get to the front of a restaurant queue as easy. If anyone does know a mason can they please start hiring them out for getting to the front of restaurant queues? I mean dial-a-mason could be a great franchise, just think about it, you're stuck in the line to get into one of the crappy 'my restaurant rules' venues and all you want is a lame meal quickly so you just dial up a mason to drag you to the front of the line, give the guy on the door a secret handshake and you're in! |
| Moonlight Wanderer 2005-04-06 14:08:44 | My great-grandfather on my mothers side is a Free Mason, but he won't be much help, being deceased and all. Getting to the front of resturant ques does have its perks, if you're willing to risk the wrath of all the other people inline. Brother Moonlight Wanderer Floppy of your Mind |
| Cat-Eyes 2005-04-07 13:35:07 | This thread is getting the StoneCutters Club song (from The Simpsons) stuck in my head... I don't think I know any Freemasons... Although my Mum was offered a job at their Melbourne Hospital, she stayed at the Alfred. Cat | Displaying 1 to 10 of 27 |
